Project Scope: Reimagine Podcast Logo
Mission: The Happiness Lab with Dr. Laurie Santos takes you through the latest scientific research and shares surprising and inspiring stories that will change the way you think about happiness.
Solution: Continuing the original nod to the smiley face, a universal symbol of happiness, I chose to use elements of the smiley face without the totality. The abstraction draws people to subconsciously complete the known and thus makes a deeper, long-lasting connection.
The exploration sought to understand the expansive nature of happiness within our lives. I played with circles to represent harmony, unity, and life. The feathered edges connote emotions and how those emotions are not static and not clearly defined nor understood at times.
I introduced multiple color solutions to represent an array of emotions and to reflect the spirit of the overall content being presented on the podcast.
